This application shows how to drive a character display through our 8-bit port Tibbit. We used MT-20S4A 20x4 and Winstar 24x2 character display in our test. However, most of the available character displays should work with this project.

You will need:

• LTPP3
• Tibbit #00-3
• Tibbit #41

Also, LCD pin pairs: 1 & 16 and 2 & 15 should be connected together. A potentiometer should be installed between pin 3 and 1 for LCD contrast regulation (we used 10KOhm).
