Intelligent video surveillance from Dawang Group

Based in Singapore, Dawang Group specializes in intelligent video surveillance, transmission and integration tools for surveillance and security applications. Dawang provides end-to-end solution for commercial system integrators and an open architecture platform that allows OEMs to easily integrate their choice of third-party technologies, including Tibbo-based access control or alarm systems, custom user interfaces and video analytics.
Overview As a security solution provider, Dawang also provides data and I/O monitoring, which is made possible through smart controllers based on Tibbo EM1000 modules and DS10xx controllers. Sensor data are collected and pre-processed in Tibbo devices before they are passed to monitoring center. As a result, the processing load and response time are greatly reduced on the server end, especially for large systems. Figure 1: Using Tibbo devices for alarm pre-processing Dawang's XtraDefense system also uses Tibbo controllers to control external I/O devices such as power switches and robotic arms. Tibbo controllers are programmed to automatically respond to input alarms, execute necessary action immediately and report the event and the handling to the central server.
