DS10xx Platform

The DS10xx is an ideal platform for an industrial control OEM product, especially one produced in lower production volumes. Designed for modularity from the ground up, the DS10xx is composed of a rugged aluminium housing with slots for two or more boards.

Each DS10xx device has two sides -- the network side (NB10x0 board), and the interface side (IB100x board). Tibbo offers several standard "IB" boards, and you can also easily develop your own "IB" board carrying just the right mix of I/O for your project.

What makes the DS10xx so attractive is that most of what you need is already there. IP68 housing -- check; power supply -- check; Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and GPRS connectivity -- check; programmability -- no problem; the device even mounts on a DIN rail, either vertically or horizontally. All that remains is just what's unique to your project, be it an alarm system or a building automation product.

It's a Winner

Below you can see two DS10xx devices: The DS1000 and the Red Dot Design Award winner, DS1004. They are not just different on the outside; the DS1000 is a 4-port serial device server, while the DS1004 is a programmable industrial controller. This is one example of the diversity made possible by the DS10xx platform.
